Kisung Jang, art director of TRIANGLE-STUDIO actually started out in animation and stumbled into the world of design by taking a book making class just before he finished up at school! Well we definitely think Kisung took the right path as we're loving what Triangle Studio is getting up to!
Actually Kisung Jang didn’t study design. His major is animation. Just before graduation, he took a book making class in basic design class. After that class, he was interested in making his pictures as a book, and he thought that he had to do some design.
Design reflects contemporary life and also leads the future direction. The work of the generation that has experienced digital since birth is increasingly on the market, and in contrast to the design of 2010, which was the result of minimal design, bold and original design has attracted attention recently. It is true that designers born after the year 2000 are expected to have more innovative designs as they are added to the design scene. Maybe he should try harder.
“The most important factor in any project is figuring out its essence and originality. Good pattern design is not just about aesthetics. The first thing to do is analyze whether the visual element is clear about the nature of the object. And then you have to consider the pattern repetition and the colour of the pattern. Of course, the technical part is a question of style.”
He creates brand design “based on rational strategy and emotional harmony”.
