Originally from Michigan, Justin Hayward (1980) now lives in Casper, Wyoming with his wife and three children. Now a full-time professor of drawing and painting at Casper College, Justin Hayward studied illustration at Brigham Young University, and earned an M.F.A. in painting from the New York Academy of Art. He studied at Florence Academy of Art in Italy, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and in private studios of renowned artists. He has exhibited in many national juried shows including the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery for which he was a commended artist and finalist. His workshops are designed to develop one’s confidence and technical skill in observational drawing and painting.
