Paul Rogers has been working as an illustrator since 1980. He lives and works in Pasadena, CA with his wife, the brilliant book designer, Jill von Hartmann.
Paul Rogers’s illustration career has included work for posters, magazines, advertising, logo design and United States Postage Stamps. With strong references to the history of visual communication, Paul creates meaningful images for today’s market. A very versatile artist, Paul is known to move among a number of different styles to match a project’s brief. He has collaborated on books for children with Wynton Marsalis and Bob Dylan and recently authored a book of illustrated movie puzzles for Chronicle Books, (it’s available on Amazon and makes a nice gift.) He lives in Pasadena, CA where he is on the faculty of Art Center College of Design.
Paul Rogers has worked as an illustrator since 1980. His clients include The New York Times, The New Yorker, Pixar Pictures, Pentagram, and The Playboy Jazz Festival. He has designed four postage stamps for the United States Postal Service and two official posters for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. He is an Associate Professor at Art Center College of Design.
