It was impossible to find Nikolator biography. but here's what I found:
All made with a smartphone, the reality represented by Frankfurt photographer and editor Nikolai Muth, aka Nikolator, focuses on small elements, which get a surreal and creative effect. This is a world surrounded by large areas, clear lines or strict architecture, that seems to talk about solitude and being different, somehow. A new way of perception determined by the contrasting interplay of graphic elements, miniature people and huge surfaces.
The result is as futuristic as it is fascinating. It seems as if the photographer, who is in his early twenties and works full-time in the financial industry, manages to focus his attention on those forms, lines and details that would otherwise be mute and indifferent. As suggested in one of the hashtags coming with his works on Instagram, Nikolai is definitely a real soul minimalist.
