Watchara Klakhakhai (1967) is a Thailand’s prominent artist on realistic approach. The work is inspired by the worldly concept of being a full of passion and lust. The artist’s realistic art skill is portrayed beautifully and emotionally onto the work.
In his works we can also come across beautiful Apsaras. English translations of the word “Apsara” include “nymph”, “fairy”, “celestial nymph”, and “celestial maiden”.
An Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. They are celestial nymphs, who dance in the court of Indra, the King of the Devas. Quite a few in number; they are considered to be extremely beautiful, charming, seductive and greatly talented in both music and dance.
