Artist of the Day, January 3, 2023: Steve Hamaker, an American Graphic designer, design director (#1742)

Steve Hamaker is a design director specializing in brand identity design and development as well as illustration, print and web design, packaging and advertising design.

"I grew up in a small Kansas farm town where I often doodled on my math assignments and favored art class over geography. By the time I got to Kansas State University, I knew I wanted to make a career out of my childhood hobby.

Today I’ve got over 25 years under my belt in brand design, design direction and illustration in industries like apparel, advertising, marketing, and web. It happens on my own and in collaboration with creative writers, developers, photographers and other designers.
