Artist of the day, March 4, 2021: Maya Prokhorova, a Russian industrial designer (#1222)

For more than 10 years I have been living in Saint-Petersburg, where in 2016 I graduated from Stieglitz State Academy of Art and design with Masters degree in industrial design.

My passion is creating unique conceptions of different kinds of objects: Lightenings, furniture, electronical devices, bathroom accessories, transport facilities, outfit accessories.

I received 6 Red Dot design Awards, four of them at once in 2017, in Lightening, Furniture, Entertainment, Relax categories. Moreover, I am a winner in K-design awards and Design&Design awards. I participated at exhibitions in Italy, Netherlands, France, Germany, South Korea and Singapore.

I'm also the founder of Mayaprodesign Studio which create branding and industrial design for clients in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
