Artist of the Day, July 22, 2022: Sam Tudyk, an American emerging artist (#1628)

Sam Tudyk is a 2001 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with BFAs in design and illustration. She has been exhibiting paintings since 2002. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums in Chi-town, PDX, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, RVA and New York.

• Named one of the 100 Best in the category of Fine Art by Creative Quarterly, The Journal of Art & Design, 2017

• Featured as one of "Twenty Emerging Artists to Buy Now," by Saatchi

Graphic structures, obscured messages, unconventional language, and memories often come into play in the creation of her artwork. Billboards and materials of correspondence frequently act as containers for those ideas.
