Manolo Guerrero is a graphic designer, awarded by the Type Directors Club of New York in 2009, Tipos Latinos 2010 and BICéBe 2013. His work has been published on FontFeed, ilovetypography.com, Unos tipos duros, Page Magazine Deutschland, Typodarium 2010, 2011, 2012. Erendida Mancilla is a graphic designer from Mexico, specialized in typography, design theory and poster design. Awarded by the Bienal Internacional del cartel en Bolivia Bicebé 2013, 2015. pachamama perú & Lathi. Her work has been featured in several publications like women designers, graphicart news, international amnesty, inspiration design, typographic posters, Mujeres diseñando & design magazines.
together they formed Bluetypo, an independent graphic design studio, and creative consultancy, focusing on typography, identities, publications, posters, books, exhibitions and websites. This studio is owned and run by Erendida and Manolo since 2000.
The quality of bluetypo’s work has been already recognized in national and international competitions, including the TDC NY, German design award and Bienal de Tipos Latinos 2010 and featured in several publications like Women designers, Graphicart-news, International Amnesty, FontFeed, FontShop, I love typography, Unos tipos duros, Tiypo magazine, Typography 30, Typodarium 2010, 2011 & 2012, Digital Arts and Page Magazine.
