John Hull is from Seattle and saw a catalog for ArtCenter back in 1971 and knew he wanted to attend but had very little money. He had to buy a small house and flip it to get the funds.
He has been a Graphic Illustrator/Designer for 40 years now. Been through highs and lows and changed his styles a half dozen times. He worked freelance, worked for a sign company, a display company, a sportswear company and an airline design company. Frankly he has been a Commercial Artist. It is what he always wanted to be when he saw things in the trash from an ad company in the back alley behind his church when he was a kid. Each one gave him something he needed: Experience.
